Maidens Family Auto Care is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for Craig Maidens, who has always wanted to have his own local auto repair shop in Barrie.
Craig has been a Licensed Automotive Service Technician for over 25 years, with 18 years of experience of managing and operating an auto shop.
Craig has lived in Barrie his whole life, born and raised. He is very community minded, volunteering in the Barrie area for decades. An automotive technician by profession and a community member by trade, Craig and his team look out for you by looking after your vehicle.
Our team is our family, running this shop together. The Maidens’ team also includes:
- Heather, Craig’s wife
- Dave is the shuttle driver and helps in the shop
- Chris is a 3rd year apprentice who has been working with Craig for years

It was Craig’s lifelong dream to have his own shop, so when the opportunity arose that Al and Marg were ready to retire from their auto repair shop, Almar Automotive, they were very excited to find like-minded new owners in Craig and his family to ‘pass the wrench’ to. Just like Al and Marg, we are the auto shop families will come to know and trust.
