We are incredibly grateful to the Loyal Orange Lodge 432, the Oddfellows, and Gary Chandler for their generous donation of an AED to Maidens Family Auto Care.
Having an AED available in our south-end Barrie community is about much more than our business—it’s about being prepared to help a customer, neighbour, employee, or anyone nearby when every second matters.
Thank you to these organizations and Gary for recognizing the importance of having lifesaving equipment accessible in our community. We are proud to provide a home for this AED and truly appreciate their generosity and commitment to keeping our community safe.

Craig has made me feel comfortable that I am being told the truth about what our vehicles actually need. I took my daughters car to Craig after she was told it needed hundreds of dollars in repairs somewhere else, he looked at immediately and the problem was solved quickly, and at an affordable price. No “wallet biopsy” as he says.
You have no idea how much it means to me to know that I have someone to trust and count on with both my vehicles. Being a single woman you sometimes feel that people are trying to take advantage of you; BUT I KNOW and TRUST that my best interests are being taken into consideration when I bring my cars in for service. You always make me feel welcome and understand what I'm trying to say and/or describe - lol.
I admit it, I am a woman that knows very little about cars. Before taking my car to Craig, I would dread going to the dealer for even an oil change because I was always worried I was being taken advantage of. Due to his excellent and trustworthy commitment to his customers as well as superior service over the past 10+ years my husband, sons and daughter-in-law all now see Craig for their automotive needs. We trust and know that Craig will take care of us.
When our daughter got her first car, the very first thing we did was bring her to Craig. He let her know if she had any car problems no matter where she was that she should call him second (call Mom & Dad first!) and gave her his cell phone number. We’ve been doing business with Craig for years and feel good knowing he’s got our back and the backs of our children.
Craig is AWESOME! He greets us and treats us like his own family. The price is right. The work is excellent. The honesty is there. I can always count on him to take excellent care of the safety of our cars for our family. There are so many things to worry about in this world, with Craig I don’t have to worry about our cars. I recommend him whenever I can to everyone. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
My husband had just passed away and I felt like I'd get taken to the cleaners going to a mechanic. My dealer told me there was a lot wrong with my 1 year old car, but with Craig, I was comforted knowing he'd fix just what needed to be fixed at a reasonable price and made me feel comfortable to know that my car was safe. I have also recommended him to two friends and my granddaughter. I would recommend Craig to anyone.
My wife and I have been taking our vehicles to Craig for almost 20 years. Over the years and many cars later, Craig has proved himself time and again as he kept our cars well maintained and at a reasonable cost. He has never tried to “oversell me” on a repair, only doing what is needed, when it is needed. Craig is a mechanic that you can trust.
I was a customer at Craig's previous garage for several years. During this time I found Craig to be both professional and personal - he always recognized my voice over the phone, could slot me in early morning to accommodate my work schedule, and I never got the sense he was trying to take advantage of me. Even gave me discount once when I fixed his computer while waiting on a tire swap! 5/5 would recommend.
